Welcome
First off Welcome to Tracing My Bohemian Roots, a digital backup copy of all the information I have collected while researching the Bohemian families of Michalek’s, Mateicka’s, Faktor’s, Hunnchis’s, Jirsa’s, and Zabka’s of the midwest region of the United States. A hard copy of all of this information will also available in the near future. If you would like to put on the list to obtain a hard copy please contact via email (gypsyheritage@gmail.com).
In the recent years, I have discovered that I know really nothing really about my family on my mothers side, besides the fact that they came from Bohemia, present day Czech Republic, and were wanderers/nomads or gypsies in Bohemia/Czech Republic, so I have decided to take a journey to find my ancestors and would like all of you to come with me. I will be posting updates as I can get to a computer the updates to the site will include, but are not limited to:

Please Note this book will mainly contains family members that were from Bohemia or are direct descents of those that were from Bohemia.
